The Adjusted Equalized Weighted Assessed Valuation (AEWAV) is an integral part of the state aid to education formula.
What it Measures
The full and fair market value of real estate, tangible personal property and motor vehicle wealth of all cities and towns as of the third preceding calendar year as prescribed by RI General Laws 16-7-21.
How it is Adjusted
The ratio by which a city or town's median family income relates to the statewide median family income based on the latest federal census data.
